I Blog After Dark: After Dark's Six Monthaversary!

We made it! With sappy speeches, so much love, and many, many thanks. We couldn't have made it this far without each and every one of you, and I know the staff shares my thoughts and feelings. We so appreciate all your support and love as we continue to grow, and loved seeing all of you out at our half birthday party!

Things are always changing with us, we're constantly shifting and moving things around and trying to fit things in and working things out. I'll admit, sometimes I feel like a really skilled juggler, but some things are finally feeling like they're settling into place, and that's a great feeling. I imagine I have to add the disclaimer -for now- to that. *laughs* DJ Paint has been a great addition to the team, I was sad to see DJ Crytical go, as Durgan is one of my best friends, but Paint has just been a real joy to have in the house. Having DJ Denali back on stream is full of SO much win, I can barely express it. Last week it was really like coming home. It reminded me so much of old times, and that was full of nostalgia, but also of a really great family feeling. It's just great to have her back. We all love DJ Cin, she's just wonderful, and with all three of these great DJs together, we have an unstoppable team.

That's enough sap from me. I have been telling you guys all week that I love you all, and I mean it!

This coming week is going to be awesome, with another chapter from the Beauty series! (Thanks for making chapter one go so well) and then leading into a great topless night with DJ Denali on Tuesday, then we have our steampunk event on Thursday, Gears and Gadgets, at 7pm SLT. It will be so much fun to see everyone's costumes!! Apparently DJ Paint already has his outfit picked out! And wrapping the week up is the Weekend Wrap Up of course, with DJ Paint again, to rock the night away. Phew, what a great week... hope to see you guys out for it!
