Cheersquad!

What a great event! Cheerleaders EVERYWHERE! DJ Cin had some great themed music, despite her technical difficulties, and even though I had to leave early... everyone seemed to be having a great time! Thanks for coming out everyone! This past week's Weekend Wrap Up was a smash! We had a great turn out, and even though it was just me on the stream playing my good ol' Canadian artists list, we had a great time! Lots of laughter and good times... and lots of friends to share it with! Thanks to everyone who came out to share in the laughs!

This week is going to be very relaxed, and thank goodness for that! I know a lot of you have been asking after me, and thank you! I love you all, and you thoughts have reached me. I'm dealing with some medical stuff that has just been kicking my lil butt, so I've just been keeping my head down and resting as much as possible. Don't you worry though, I will bounce back as soon as possible and be back and bouncing before you know it!

SO! This week we have the Tuesday beach party! (today) at 1pm SLT, then there's Games Night on Thursday at 7pm SLT. Just a bunch of games out for us to play with DJ Cin dropping some beats! How about a mass game of Cards Against Humanity? I'm SO in for that! *laughs* and then the Weekend Wrap Up on Sunday. Speaking of Sunday... If you know of anyone that would like to DJ for that Sunday slot, send me an IM will you? Thanks!

Ve Vant to Suck Your...

I could talk a lot... but I have so much cool stuff to show you that I just don't have it in me. Thank you everyone who came out to the Tuesday beach party, it was fun. I'm not sure about the success of these parties, and yes, we've only had two so far, but if you'd like them to stick around, help us spread the word and get those afternoon people to come out and party with us. We had a LOT of fun at the vampire/goth night. The dancefloor was packed, DJ Cin played an awesome set, and there was a bunch of horsing around. Just my kind of party! Thanks everyone who came out and hand fun with us!

Rho Sir did some pictures for us, they're awesome and he's allowed me to use them in the blog! (Thank you Sir). Then for the event, Cherry was playing with a Gif tool and made some cool little Gifs, I'll post the links for you, they're really neat.

Getting back into the groove, our first beach party and Cops & Robbers...

Phew, it's good to be back in the swing of things... It's always such a challenge to get back in the groove after the holidays... at least for me, because I'm a giant slacker! When I relax... I reeeelax! You'll have noticed (or maybe you haven't SURPRISE) that we have stopped the After Dark Talks and have replaced them with a magical, awesome, fun fun, SUPER fun, Beach Party of AWESOME! (in the afternoon) You see, we here at After Dark have always planned on having an afternoon event to show our EU folks some love, and our -only available during the day- folks some love, but we just got caught up with everything else, and we never seemed to find the opportunity to introduce this event, so TADAAA, on a Kami "it's the new year lets try something new" opportunity, we're doing this. Every Tuesday at 1pm SLT, we are going to have a beach party. Nothing fancy, a great DJ, great company, a great beach... what more could you ask for? Our first party we ended up playing Cards Against Humanity... which is HILARIOUS! So come on out if you're around, slip into your beachwear and have some fun with us! Who knows what this could turn in to!

Thursday's event was Cops & Robbers. We had a great little jail there that we all had fun with I think. I know I had lots of fun with it, before the party, during the party, and after the party... *laughs* You know you've made a good purchase when... Sir got me on voice saying naughty things to Him... but He looked so sexy all dressed up like an Officer of the Law! *swoons* Thanks everyone for coming out.

We just had our Weekend Wrap Up. Durgan was out for the week, and we had Sir DJing again... it's been a busy week for Him. It was a successful night, the weekend was wrapped up well, and there was much fun to be had. We almost drowned the club with water balloons, thanks to Rho Sir's asking for a wet-tshirt concert, and the bouncing of bodyparts went on and on due to physics... it was quite a night.

Don't miss the fun as we gear up for After Dark at the Beach on Tuesday, January 14th at 1pm SLT, followed by Ve Vant to Suck Your... our goth/vamp night on Thursday, January 16th at 7pm SLT, and don't forget to wrap your weekend with us with the Weekend Wrap Up on Sunday, January 19th at 6pm SLT. Happy New Year! Welcome to 2014!

Welcome everyone to 2014! We hope that everyone rang in 2014 happily and healthily! We have officially had our first Weekend Wrap Ups, and we've had our first event- Superheroes! It was amazing, though that day SL was being very difficult and half of us could barely dress, rez things, or get sound... we still made the best of it, as we always do! Rock on people! I don't have much more to report, other than posting a ton of pictures. SO, have fun looking over our New Years Eve bash, and our first event of the year! Thanks for partying with us, and here's to a fantastic year ahead!
