Our Grand Finale...

This is it, the last post. I have enjoyed blogging our memories here for you all, and I'm glad that I did, for years to come we can look back at these pictures and remember the times we had at After Dark, and know that an amazing place existed on the grid. Thank you to Rockwell Sir for keeping the roof over our heads, to my Sir for building the roof, to Cherrypie for keeping our spirits up and touching our hearts daily, Thank you to Sunshine who was there to cheer us on, thank you to Denali for being wonderful and to Paint for coming along when he did to liven things up, a thank you to our past DJ's who have come in to inspire us with their musical talents, and finally a big thank you to everyone else who had a part in After Dark, in donating to it, in cheering us along, in coming to events and supporting us... whatever you did, thank you!

Helmets and Chrome!!

Vrooom Vroom went the bikes! We had leathers flapping, chaps, a half naked girl... what more can you ask for?!? It was a great event, and we had lots of fun! Thanks everyone for coming out and making it a great one!

You don't want to miss the last week of events at After Dark. This week we will have the last Weekend Wrap Up on the 15th and the Grand Finale on the 19th, starting at 6pm with Durgan, Denali, Paint, and a special appearance by DJ Art. Come on out and celebrate with us as we wrap up our fantastic run.

Last night the three of us, Rock Sir, Cherry, and myself (Denali joined in later in the evening)... sat and went through a TON of pictures of all our events... it was a wonderful night of reminiscing, we love you guys! 

Don't forget to come out and join us for our last week... we'll certainly miss all of you, but we ARE keeping the group open, so you can keep in contact with us and each other... you have all become our family and we want to keep in touch!

Noob Night!

What a blast noob night was! We had so many hideous avis out! Rock Sir rocking some serious bulge, bad, bad hair, worse outfits, and bling, all the HORRIBLE BLING! Thanks everyone for coming out and making it such a fun night. I had a blast decorating for it, I dived in my inventory and found some of the random bits, Sid helped me out with some random freebie stuff, and then there was Mr. Discipline Noob. I think we all had a turn over his knee... he was a big hit!

We're wrapping up folks, there's this Thursday's event, Helmets and Chrome (a biker's event) and one more Weekend Wrap Up, and then we're heading in to our Grand Finale on the 19th. Make sure you come out and wring the last drops of After Dark out that you can, we'll certainly miss you all. For those of you that have no idea what I'm talking about, here's the official notice:

After Dark is closing its doors June 20th.

First of all, we want to thank everyone for their support, and love. Every single one of you had a part in making After Dark the awesome place it is. Thank you.

We have all enjoyed the club, and the journey we took to get where we are today.  Though we're still having fun and love partying with all of you real life is creeping in and there just isn’t the time available to maintain the standard of excellence that we wish to uphold for After Dark. It's been an amazing ride, and After Dark has been an amazing place, and we want to keep that memory a bright one.

We still have some events left in the next few weeks, with a great big Grand Finale on June 19th. We hope that you will all come out and party with us. We will also be keeping the group open, so please feel free to stick around, I'm sure there will be pokes for random get togethers. You have become our family, and we have been honoured to share our time with you here at After Dark.

Ye Ol' West!

What an adventure! I had so much fun building this town, Sir and I hadn't done a big build together in ages, and it felt really good to get out there and do something fun. We had some cowboys and some cowgirls, and some indians... it was a great mix and I loved seeing everyone dress up and wander through the town, heck we even had a horse! Thanks everyone for coming out!

Don't miss this week's fun adventure with Noob Night scheduled on Thursday, and the Weekend Wrap Up on Sunday, I'll be reading on Thursday night instead of Tuesday, we've gone and cancelled the Tantalizing Tuesday event.

Been awhile!

Some of you may have heard that I ran into some computer problems around the Easter weekend... it was horrible, dreadful, terrrrrrible! Since then we've slowly been getting my laptop back in order. We finally got photoshop back on my laptop so I could edit the snaps I've been taking, so this is going to be a huge photo update post. This week there will be a "Ye Ol' West" event on Thursday, so make sure you stop in with your spurs and  your chaps on, it should be a hoot! We hope to see you there! Don't forget Storytime on Tuesday, and getting topless later on in the evening... and of course the Weekend Wrap Up tonight with DJ Paint. Thanks for coming out everyone and showing your support.
