After Dark in Space!!

You've done it! Sauntered into a land unknown! A land where no one has gone before... oh wait, it's just us! After Dark is getting ready to celebrate Halloween and thought we'd get a little sci-fi on everyone. Come dressed in your awesome alien outfits, robots from another world, androids, Star Wars, Star Trek, whatever it is that gets that sci-fi geekgasm twitching for you.

Yes, yes we did it! An awesome event with tons of great costumes! We were joined again by DJ Helios, "The Sex Voice Man", and He kept us dancing and wiggling happily all over the dance floor all night. Apparently the ladies were wooed by His sexy voice, not that I can blame them... He IS pretty amazing!

We are not gearing up for Halloween and I can't wait for our big party! It will be my first official "big party build" since we opened, and I have to say, I've been looking forward to this Halloween party pretty much since we opened! I hope you all get a chance to come out and join us for a great party! It's Thursday, October 31st at 7pm SLT - 10pm SLT!

After Dark Talks has been going smoothly, this week we talk about pain. It should be an interesting follow-up to the talk about punishments last week. Let me know if you have any ideas for a topic, we'll be glad to add them to our list! After Dark Talks - Tuesdays at 7pm SLT.

Weekend Wrap Ups have been a hit. It seems that we are enjoying this time to wrap up the weekend and have some groovey fun with our DJ, DJ Crytical. He gives us a different pace to follow with the music, but it's fun and refreshing from our usual playlist! Don't miss the Weekend Wrap Up! Sunday, November 3rd at 6pm SLT- 9pm SLT.

I loved the responses to our first Caption This! post. Lucky for all of us, another opportunity presented itself today, and who was I to say no...

Oh - well on second thought... I guess I did say no.

We've all seen newbies do something like this, but what do you say when someone who isn't a newbie does this...

Country Reflections!!

We had a great event on Thursday! Country Reflections! Sir (Dentin Helios) stepped in to DJ as Denali was unavailable, keeping in mind this was His second time DJing, He was a great success! We saw tons of places represented, though there was a GIANT Canadian contingent! GO Canada! It was an awesome night and we had tons of fun! Thanks everyone for coming out and showing your colours!

We've had some great participation and some funny captions bandied about the club, I wish I had thought to catch them all, but the ones that were officially submitted, I will put below! For those of you that forget, here is the picture again!

What a great event! I'm sorry I don't have more pictures for you, I was busy having too much fun! We were visited by a bunch of naked *gasps* hamsters, one with a -fiiiine- set of boobies, we had some kittens, a panda girl, alllll kinds of crazy hats and lots and lots of naked bodies!!! Thanks everyone for coming out and making this such a fun night! This is going to be a short post as I'm about to slip into a turkey coma... speaking of, Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian members! I hope you all had a safe and happy weekend! We have a fridge full of left-overs for anyone that didn't get turkey! Come make a sandwich!

Don't forget we're doing a special blog Thanksgiving event, where you can share all that you're thankful for. We have a notecard in the club that you can fill out and drop back off when you're done. What Does the Club Say?

It's Friday night of Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, and what better place is there to be on a Friday night than hanging around at the club?

I wandered in to the club tonight, a bit of mischief in my bones and decided to stir things up a little. All good fun needs someone to instigate it, right?

Lucky for me, everyone was eager to join in the fun...

It took a little practice, but soon we had even figured out how to set up our stage...

Finally the practice paid off...



I asked everyone after what they thought it was like having their 27 seconds of fame, and this is what they had to say:

Hi everyone! I'll start this post off with our talk on Tuesday! Our first ever official discussion! After Dark Talks: BDSM, what does it mean to you?  "What does BDSM even mean anyway? What does it mean to YOU? How does BDSM impact your relationship? How do you feel the D/s part of BDSM affects the way you handle things on a relationship level compared to those relationships that are non D/s. Come pick some interesting brains!!!!!"

You know that it was a great chat. There was TONS of participation, and lots of great, wonderful, well thought out input. Thank you everyone who came and participated. Unfortunately this week's talk is cancelled do to some RL smacking me in the face, but we will be back LOUD AND FIERCE next week!

Then we move on to Thursday. What a great event. I was a little under the weather, but all the mobsters and sexy ladies cheered me up. "Lets wander back to an era where men ruled not only the streets, but the home as well. Where Dad's word was law. The 1940's household was a different time and things were "expected" of the wives. Obedience was key, especially if you were a gangster's wife. That was a life of opulence, of decadence, of danger and taboo. Many of the underground things that went on in the backroom clubs are still whispered about today. Shall we live out some of those whispered fantasies? Lets capture some of those moments and relive some of that fire and adventure. Lets be naughty and wild and live in the moment... if only for a few precious moments. Come join us for The Godfather's Reunion at 7pm SLT-10pm SLT..."

Unfortunately, Denali also wasn't feeling well, so we had DJ Crytical fill in for us, he's becoming a known face around the club, most of you will know him as Durgan. His Weekend Wrap Up is coming up tonight (Sunday) at 6pm SLT, don't miss it! After Durgan went to bed, I stepped in and played some Halestorm and Bon Jovi, and some other random things from my music collection. Over-all I think it was a great night! Monday night chats....

You can't say there's ever really a dull moment around the club. Coral and I were having some downtime, helping me find the perfect things for my up-coming anniversary with my wonderful Master <3 (number 4!!), when we decided to head back to the club and found some fun things going on. A guy with an alien on his face, trying to bribe Kat into buying us things, and the same guy with the alien on his face just bringing Coral and I to absolute tears in IMs. When all the fun was done we made some casual observations about our pixel selves... I thought I needed to share these with you, because of course you all missed out.
